Recognizing Bitterroot South 9U

Yes I know this is a baseball blog for teams that represent Great Falls, but when your grandson plays for the Bitterroot South 9U team, well I have to give recognition there.


It is definitely special when your team plays in its first travel tournament; it is even more special when you take home the championship!  That is exactly what Bitterroot South 9u did at the Missoula Grand Slam.  Great Team; players, coaches, and parents.  It was well worth the long drive, and to almost freeze to death to watch them play two games in bracket play.


Bitterroot South 9u defeated Missoula MudDawgs 9u 11-1 in the semi and then defeated Helena 7-6 in the Championship.
