Rain Cancells Some Games

As is typical in Montana this time of year the weather put a damper on games in Montana and into Canada.


- Outlaws versus Billings Black Sox cancelled
- ASA Softball Tournament in Great Falls cancelled
- Chargers at Vauxhall Tournament, due to weather and costs Chargers dropped out.
- Thunder; Saturday games cancelled, Sunday games will be played for the High School division.
- Lightning 11u and 13u are playing at the Missoula Grand Slam Tournament.  Lightning 11u went 2-1 in pool play and are seeded 4th in the Gold Championship division and the Lightning 13u went 0-2-1 in pool play, at this time bracket play for Sunday has not been posted.


On a special note my eldest grandson ( 8 years-old) whom lives in Stevensville was selected to the Bitterroot South 9u All Star team and is competing in the Missoula Grand Slam.  The team posted a 2-1 record in pool play and earned the number 1 seed spot for the Sunday bracket play-offs.  You can check out how the two Lightning teams and the Bitterroot South 9u team fair on Tourney Machine.


UPDATE:
- Thunder added two more games in the win category improving to 10-4 with a 7-1 win over Mission Valley Rockies and a 15-5 win over Big Sky Eagles.
- Lightning 13u lost first round action in bracket play at Missoula Grand Slam to Bitterroot 7-2.
- Lightning 11u posted wins against Sandpoint Sasquatch (10-0) and Missoula MudDawgs (9-0) to advance to the championship game, to which they fell to Kalispell 11-10.
